PLEASE people...take a second to look around you before you get on an elevator. It's possible that someone TEN STEPS away would like an elevator ride, too.
this morning in the tcf building i was waiting for an elevator with two other guys. when it came, we all waited for one another to get on with Aggressive Politeness. i finally had to break the mood and rush forth when the doors started closing again and we were all still silently allowing one another to go first. i really, really enjoy watching elevator behavior in general.
